Netbackup Support / Data Center Operations & Research Analyst Head
Role as Netbackup Support -
• 1st level support for for Veritas Netbackup 6.5 across various accounts & support for Storage Management services.
• Data Backup Management – Monitoring 700+ backup policies on Veritas Netbackup. Worked on Backup infrastructure like HP Enterprise Storage Library, IBM Tape Library, IBM VTL.
• Generating periodic reports regarding changes in policies, backup size, escalation of any deviation.
• Audit backup policies and environments to ensure integrity of backup against the change management calls and server induction/de-induction calls .
• Media management as per backup policy and disaster recovery plan.
Role as Data Center Operation
• Administration of Data Center comprising 900+ servers.
• Security - Ensure data center security in both physical & logical level, defining security procedures & controls.
• Audit – Assisting the Data Center Head for ISO Audit (Pre and post audit formalities) by arranging various logs, records, checklists for the audit period.
• Arranging for facilities like power management, network cable management during server movement.
• Preparing daily and weekly MIS for operational activities like addition and deletion of jobs, jobs/backup failure statistics, other escalation statistics etc.
• Daily health checks like temperature, humidity.
• Inventory - Maintaining the inventory of assets in Data Center. Media management as per backup policy.

Role as Research Analyst Head
• Handling the team of Research Analyst and solving all the queries of our clients related to project information’s.
• Responsible for providing all the information in our fortnightly bulletin (Magazine) and weekly electronic edition of “Latest Projects Now”.
• Responsible for giving new projects information to the Indian corporate companies, machinery mfgrs. / Suppliers, service providers and traders etc and cover more than 85 sectors of the industry namely Power, Metal, Infrastructure, Cement, Chemicals, Pharma, Fertilizers, plastic, IT parks, Theme Parks etc.
• Preparing fortnightly Graphical reports, weekly Pivot table reports and weekly MIS reports.
• Providing the information related to Tenders, EPC Contractors.
